At Fabri-Tech, we provide contract manufacturing of ferrous and non-ferrous metal components and assemblies to customers in a wide array of industries. The steel strap highlighted here is used on a vacuum truck and is produced for a customer in Milwaukee, WI. The strap is fabricated using 12 gauge steel tubing, 10 gauge HRPO steel sheet, and hot rolled steel bar. The tube is rolled to a centerline radius of 115.44° while holding tolerances of ± 1°. The strap measures 70.84” in length, and was cut, punched, and trimmed using in-house equipment. Dimensional tolerances are held to as tight as ± 0.06” per customer prints. The welded strap assembly is powder coated with a black polyurethane material for durability and inspected for conformance to customer specifications. The straps are supplied to the customer via a custom stocking program designed to meet the customer’s specific inventory needs.
