Built for a customer in the transportation industry, the cradle assembly shown here is used to house and secure the fuel tank in a motor coach. Working with the customer specifications, our procurement staff sourced the 304 stainless steel component parts as well as all required hardware for the assembly process. Careful attention to detail and expert workmanship enabled us to build each cradle, which featured dimensions of 687 mm in length, 712 mm in width, and 1,575 mm in height, to within precise ±1 mm tolerances. We also applied a uniform layer of undercoating to protect against rust and damage from exposure to salt and roadway grit.
The proficiency and expert skills of our assembly professionals made this project a success and we continue to deliver 40 units a month to this very satisfied customer.
